Job Brief

Helios Ventilation Systems Limited are a leading fan manufacturer based in Colchester and currently have an immediate vacancy for an ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEER. We have a team of three engineers covering the UK and the current position will be based in Colchester once initial training complete.

Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Job Duties
  1. To diagnose repair and replace electrical and mechanical components to a recognised standard.
  2. Ability to communicate with customers to provide electrical backup in the form of wiring diagrams and verbal communication and ensure smooth installation of Helios products.
  3. The ability to produce the correct paperwork and reports to clearly indicate the works carried out.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as an electrical/mechanical engineer
  2. Hands on experience using diagnostic/setup software
  3. Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
  4. Proven problem-solving abilities
  5. Attention to detail
  6. Strong organisational and communication skills
  7. A qualification in Electrical Engineering
